The 4F Experience
During the pandemic as the world was in a complete shut down many people found themselves in a very vulnerable state. Men found it difficult to provide for their families financially, women found it challenging to be educators as it pertain to homeschooling, and students found themselves in isolation because of social distancing from friends. All of these actions played a major roll in the mental health of many people but especially WOMEN! CARE International conducted a report based on first-person accounts of more than 10,000 participants’ views of the challenges faced by women during COVID-19.
The study found that 27% of women reported an increase in challenges associated with mental illness, compared to only 10% of men.
